Installing Panther Upgrade
My boss got a copy of a Panther Upgrade and not Panther full version. The thing is, his OSX version is 10.0.4 which is from way, way back still.
I tried installing the Panther Upgrade and it didn't want to install.
If I am using Panther Upgrade what version of Mac OSX should I at least have.
I remember just buying a Jaguar Update when I went from 10.1 to 10.2. Should I have 10.2 before I can install 10.3?

I believe you can only use the Panther Upgrade CDs/DVD if you already have Jaguar installed in your system. It won't work with earlier OS X versions, nor will it install Panther on an empty hard drive.

You have to install at least 10.1. I found this out in a very distressed and panicked way.

Ummm, that's piracy. :-) Your sister's Panther Installer CDs are only meant to be used with her PowerBook.
