How are you upgrading your Mac to Tiger?
I'm sure most of us here will be upgrading our Macs to Tiger. How are you planning to do it? When I went from Jaguar to Panther, I just did a system upgrade. Even though I haven't had any problems, I'm thinking of doing a clean install with Tiger. I'll clone my HD, reformat, install Tiger, restore my user's home directories, then manually re-install the applications.

I'm leaning towards a system update because of the following concerns:
1. system preferences (esp wireless networking w/ PCs)
2. peripheral driver compatibility
With a system update, I'll at least feel secure that my existing working settings/drivers are in there (10.3.9) somewhere, Tiger system write-overs notwithstanding.
I'll probably holdout and wait for Tiger user migration experiences first. But that's just me.

Clean install for that "brand new Mac" experience.

I don't know if I have the patience for a clean install. this will be my first upgrade and i think i'll probably go for system update for the meantime.

Talk about clean installs. I just bought a new 80GB 5400 RPM drive and assembled it inside my Cutie external FW casing. I'll install Tiger there and simply restore my user data from my current drive. Then it's off to an ASP to physically swap the drives since my current internal is a 4200 RPM.
Tiger, b-b-baby, I can't wait!
