i was able to install it before. but my os x crashed and have to re install the software again.. i tried installing os 9 and it work, but when i try to install os x the message appears again..
guys please help me.. what seems to be the prob of my imac and os x? thanks a lot!!!

Have you tried using the OS X installer disk on other MACs? This might be the cause of the problem.. Try borrowing an OS X CD Installer from one of your friends to further isolate the problem.

give us the specifications of your machine, and what version of OSX you're trying to install (10.1? jaguar? panther? could it just be an update and not the full program?). that can be a good starting point for us.

Hi hmmhmm. There is a thread about upgrading G3 iMacs and making it run on OS X. I sure hope this helps.
