help!
guys,
History:
I returned my iBook for replacement last month. Since then, I was using a pc owned by a nephew. he has a built in crw (using Nero & Record Now! as freebie with his crw hardware) so i used a cd that has softwares and files in it (MAC files) to burn additional files using the pc.
Problem:
I cannot seem to access, and let alone, see the MAC files I previously had inside the cd AFTER I burned the files from my nephew's pc. Is there a way I can still get them (missing files)?? if so, how do I go about it?
Any help is surely appreciated.....

So what happened was, the cd that you used was first burned using your mac with Toast, then you used the pc to burn additional files on it by continuing the session using Nero, right? So what I'm guessing happened, since the last burned session was done by Nero, it wasn't able to resolve the files burned by Toast. Though I would have thought that it would.
Anyway, your files are still there. They're just "invisible". You should be able to see your files using a PC. Then network it to your iBook. Hope this helps.

I have done that already but even in the PC, my Mac files are still "invisible" : (

In the PC, try launching Nero. I'm pretty sure it'll be able to see the invisible files. And I think you'll be able to copy the files from within Nero, though I'm not sure about this though...

If the Mac "portion" of the CD is in either the Mac OS Standard (HFS) or Mac OS Extended (HFS+) format, you're gonna need an app like MacDrive to access that "portion" of the disc.
Have you tried using the CD on a Mac? If the files are still nowhere to be found, then I guess burning the next session using Nero screwed up the disc somehow.
The thing is, when you're burning multisession discs, always use the same app to burn all the sessions. That's the safest route to take.
Good luck!

Yes, Henjie. I guess I did screw up the cd when I used Nero in my nephew's PC. Yes to Yagballs also. i did use the Nero to look for my Mac files to no avail. I will try the MacDrive and will post whatever happens. Let's hope this one works!

Or don't burn multi-session discs at all. I don't trust them. After some bad experiences with reliability, and having some multi-session CD's that are not readable in all CD-drives (especially older ones), I've decided not to complicate things. No sessions -- one burn per disc, then close. That's my $6.25.

well, I've tried everything and I still cannot see the Mac files except the FIRST burn I did on the Mac. If I use the PC, I can only see the LAST file I burned using Nero : (
