Yup. Checked via Software Update as soon as I noticed this post and... nada. Then I noticed the date -- 2004-04-05. Doh.

No need to delete. Someone might still find this useful; there are those who don't make it a habit to update or haven't enabled the automatic updater (especially if they're on dial-up most of the time. )

Besides, dyahe naman kay Quasar, who helpfully put it up.

Stupid me too, I didn't check my system instead of just asking. Tamad.

If you guys haven't tinkered with your System Pref panel under OS X, there is a listing of installed updates on your system for quick reference, or when in doubt.

Open up System Preferences, then click on Software Updates. There is an option there to view everything updated in your OS since you installed it.

I'm sure most of you know this already. If not, well, there you go.

(see, there is some value in this thread; we've turned a potentially unnecessary posting into a small learning experience)

Well said. Thanks for the tip, Adel, and to Quasar for posting the notice. I guess this is one of those bits of useful info that kinda got lost in the transition to a new site.

My apologies if anyone was misled or annoyed by this thread. I was offline for most of the Holy Week (my penitence) and I didn't run software update until yesterday. It has been my experience (at least in the old Philmug forum) that someone posts an update alert in the forums. When I found no such alert here, I attributed this to the tumultuous events of last week and I thought of posting the alert myself.
