H264 Encoding very slow

Hi guys,

I've been looking forward to the new H264 codec in Quicktime 7 but when I tried converting some of my DV files, the export process took so damn long - more than 3 hours as compared to around 20 to 30 mins using the old Mp4 codec.

Is it just my computer or has someone experienced the same thing?

I have a 15" Powerbook 1.25Ghz 1gb RAM by the way. :no:
