    Default Filevault won\'t turn off

I've been using Filevault for the past few months, but I've noticed that it eats up a huge amount of drive space.

I tried turning it off but I can't because I don't have enough drive space to turn it off.

    What should I do?

    I'm on a G4 iBook with a 30GB HD.

I have an external drive and all my data is backed up.

    TIA!

same thing happened to a friend of mine... basically, just move your data (on your laptop) to your external hdd, remove file vault and put back your stuff...

Yup, same thing happened to me. I had to remove some files, turn-off filevault, then retrun the files my HD.
