    Default docked half-way?

i have a question. has this ever happened to you? do you have any idea what gives?

my dock is ticked to "automatically" hide and show. however, there are moments when it only appears half-way when i try to "show" it by pointing my cursor to the bottom part of my screen.

    :wound:

is this normal? do i just discount it as "that's life"? i'm a new switcher, so i'm still bothered by these little details--besides, i'm a bit of an O.C.

(not O.C. enough to spell-check, though. hehehe)

my dock acts that way every once in awhile. I just shrug it off and figure that it's a glitch.

Dismiss it. It acts up every once in a while much like the spinning ball you see sometimes. Point the cursor somewhere else most of the time it pops back up. In the event that it doesn't i reset it in the system prefs.

Default a suggestion but not a solution.

I just keep the dock static in my ibook.

    Just a suggestion.
Why not just make it static and just make the size small for you not to get irritated with the "glitch".

    :2cents:

Yes, dismiss it. Happens to me too once in a while, especially when I try to trash something (USB drive, PCMCIA, etc)...Once in a while, It doesnt even show at all. I just re-drag again and then it works ok...
