Default BT Sync with Address Book

Anybody using a T610, iSync, and the Address Book App?

I just noticed that even on Panther, and the latest iSync and Bluetooth firmware, the synchronization is still not 100% efficient. I would expect that if I sync my T610 with my PB, both should contain the same data. However, I noticed that the new contact entries I have on my phone does not get copied to the Address Book.

I was looking for an option on iSync to "force" downloading all the entries from my phone, but wasn't able to find any.

    Anybody encounter this "glitch"?

The limitation of the T610 is that it can't sync more than one number of the same category. In your Address book, if you have 2 mobile phone numbers for a specific person, only one of the mobile phone number will be synced.

i've encountered this as well. i would expect that any field of data (ie, email add, fax no., etc.) newly put in my T610 would reflect on my address book after each sync.

my solution, although not really practical, is just save whatever information in my phone. then update it in my address book. sucks, eh?

Hi Bogs. You're right... but that's not the problem. I maintain the numbers via the phone and not via the Address Book, so I only have one number per category. Besides, the new entries I place on the phone, most often than not, only has one number anyway.

Oh, man... that defeats the whole purpose of synchronization...
