this is the kind of stuff that would really make me worry. :-( like most of you, if not all of you, i have never worried about viruses, much less spyware, on my mac. and i hope it stays that way forever.

I've never worried about viruses at all to be honest and I've never used a virus checker in my life. The only thing I am worried about are web sites that use vulnerabilites in your browser to get into your system. Kind of why I hated Internet Explorer. I use a trash machine for browsing "questionable" sites.

i sleep easy knowing that for every single 'breach' we have the dark side gets 100,000  imho: some of the so called 'security alerts' are just being used by so called 'security' companies to make money in their software/services business in the absence of any real threat. phooey!
