Airport 3.4.1 out!

For those who had problems (and those who did not) with 3.4, Apple just released their new version - hopefully it fixed the problem already.

Haaaay salamat! It's about time they released the update to lick the problems caused by the previous update.

So, if I didn't download the 3.4 it's ok for me not to get the 3.4.1? Does the update revert back to the original airport version or are there some minor changes? If so, what fixes, features does it have?

This one's a blessing for me. I was this close to selling our MSI Wifi Router.

@caloysam: Apple lists the same features as version 3.4, but we can safely presume that 3.4.1 addresses the signal strength issue that many users complained about.

is the version seen in the airport utility software? I downloaded the update which is noted to be ver 3.4.1 but when i clicked the utility it is still ver 3.4

Finally, frustration-free wireless surfing again. No more problems even with the cordless being used and signal strength is back to pre-3.4 levels.

If you've performed the SW Update, then you should be on ver. 3.4.1. You can go to System Profiler (under Applications | Utilities) to see which version you have.
