    Default Where is Palm Doctor?

I accidentally cracked my LCD screen for my spare PDA which is a Tungsten W. I saw in a magazine an article about Palm Doctor. I'm not sure where it is though. I live in Southern Manila. Where is the closest one I can go to?

And how much would it cost to repair the cracked LCD?

    Thanks in advance...

    P.S.
I won't be in Manila that long anymore so just
in case I don't have time, is there such a thing
as a Palm Doctor in HK?

Palm Doctor's main office is at microwarehouse in Brgy.Kapitolyo, in Pasig. though you can bring your unit to some of the other branches which bring deliver the unit to the main office anyway, I know there's one in Podium , lower level near the kodak store. I think it's Mobile 1 but not sure. I'm not sure if the store in megamall services palm dr. It's the store by the bowling alley's entrance, lower level also, near my home.

If your unit is still under warranty, I suggest you wait till you go back to HK and just call the toll-free Palm Asia support (I don't have the number at the moment but its at the MaPalad.org site).

Palm Doctors also has a branch at the old greenbelt building beside that cheescake place and Time zone and old cinemas on the second floor

my girlfriend's palm's LCD broke when she dropped her zire 71. I think the cost for a replacement screen was quoted to be around 100 US. though this was just an estimate and we just asked, we never brought the unit to get it looked at.

Roughly P5,500. Worth considering since the quoted price for repair, far & away, still doesn't cost as much as a new T|W.

i am not sure if the LCD screen is considered for replacement by Palm asia. Unless I missed something in their replacment conditions.

    PalmDoctors
PalmDoctors is a 3rd party Palm repair facility. It's not in any way affiliated with palmOne (Palm). All works performed by PalmDoctors will void any warranty left in the device.

The PalmDoctors branch in Greenbelt 1 has closed down. You can find their branch addresses in their website.

    palmOne
Every palmOne device comes with a warranty to cover manufacturer defects. Obviously, cracked screens are not covered by warranty.

For warranty claims pertaining to devices 30 days old or less: you can go back to the store where the handheld was purchased and have it replaced with a brand new one.

For warranty claims of units more than one month old, but less than one year old: palmOne will replace any handheld with a refurbished unit. Replacement is absolutely free.

For non-warranty claims, there is a corresponding fee for replacement, usually US$130.

palmOne technical support can be reached at 1800 10 888 7256 (toll free, from a PLDT land line) to request Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 6pm.

    Hope this helps.
