FYI The new handheld will initially be available through US carriers exclusively, but should make its way to our shores by early next year.

Whoa! *Real world* price is $549 (before rebates). Makes me think long and hard before picking this one up -- considering that the $549 price still does not include local mark-up/taxes/etc. ...

Nice. It can be as much as a Treo 600 if am not mistaken. This will be a winner for PalmOne this time.

It will be priced similarly to the Treo 600 (when it was first introduced).

the lack of wifi could be a big deal for some. for me, the nokia 9500 is still something to be excited about. just my :2cents:

I've actually put this down on my what-to-get-with-my-extra-cash-this-holiday-season list. I liked the form factor of its predecessor and this one's in keeping with that, albeit much better. The lack of wifi does bite, but overall, it's going to be a killer.

Perhaps palmOne will one day have its WI-FI SDIO Card working with the Treo 650.
