SMS problem with T630
After upgrading my T610 to new T630, I successfully pair it with my mac and able to isync it. I was able to type in SMS in my address book and assume it was send out.
However this is the problem I need help: the SMS I sended out didn't received by other party niether making a call from my address book. I am at lost on what happen, I have deleted the T610 bluetooth connection settings, however I do still see a remnants of the T610 still appears on the bluetooth file exchanges but can't delete them for unknown reasons.
Anyone has same experience before?

I also see my old t68 aside from the z600 on the devices when I browse device, assuming device category is set to all categories. Just make sure your current mobile is set to favorite device by clicking add favorites or you could remove your old mobile by click 'remove from favorites'
Still I think this should not affect why you can't send SMS thru your address book. Just make sure you only got one device to make sure no conflicts occurs, goto System Preference > Hardware > Bluetooh > Devices to check if there's no other paired device aside from your t630.
BTW do you use a bluetooth dongle? If you do, try using a different one.

Below is a post from an anonymous tipster on MacOSXHints.com. It might just be the solution to your problem.

Add Address Book support for the Sony Ericsson T630

So I got one of those new fangled Sony Ericsson T630's... but when I tried the Bluetooth dialing and SMS features in Apple's Address Book.app, I was disappointed they didn't work. Well it turns out the fix is pretty easy and involves a one item addition to a plist file inside the application bundle. I'm using Panther.
Quit and backup your Address Book app... bla bla bla ...
Control click on the Address Book app, select Show Package Contents, then navigate to Contents -> Resources.
Control click on Telephony.bundle, Show Package Contents, then navigate to Contents -> Resources
Open ABDeviceCommandSets.plist with Property List Editor (or a text editor to change the XML in a more primitive way)
Find this array in the ABDeviceCommandSets.plist: Root -> 1 -> ABDeviceModelStrings ... you should see two string entries here, T610 and Z600. Add another string entry with the value T630. Save and quit
Now relaunch Address book. SMS and dialing should now work with your T630

just tried it. strangely, T630 is already on my list. i guess after the 10.3.4 update, it is now part of their standard listing already.

Are you using 10.3.4 already? If not, then I suggest you do so. Or you might want to try what elbertc posted. I tried that too using 10.3.3 and it worked.

Re: SMS problem with T630
i know this is a 2 year old thread but i'm using a 2 year old phone.
my question is are T630 owners still having problems with sending SMS via Addressbook under OS X 10.4.6 or newer?
