Panasonic X70

i'm in the mood of spending money and getting a new phone. while i was looking around at greenhills, i saw this phone, the x70.

i owned a panasonic gd88 before. and my reasons of selling them are these:

- i cannot seem to send and recieve mms all the time. i tried
smart and globe. is it network dependent? or the
panasonic phones are just not compatible?
- i cannot download java games from either smart or globe.
they don't have available configurations for the model.
- photos i got from the panasonic gd88 where small, around
150x150 pix. when i uploaded them to my computer, the
photos were tiny!!!

my dilemma now is this; i am fond of clamshell phones and i
like the new x70. has anyone tried this phone already? is it different from the gd88 as to the things i mentioned?

i want the x70, but if again the photos are tiny, the mms and java don't work, i may as well get the z200 of Sony Ericsson.
