Default P900 compatibility with iSync 1.4

I've read in previous thread that symbian phones aren't compatible with macs. However,my question is that is this still true even with the new 1.4 version? I've read on the apple website that the P900 is compatible, but I was looking for some sort of proof. Anyone here with experience on this? Thanks in advance!

It claims on the website that it's compatible with address book. :S

Hmmm... ok. I was thinking of getting that phone or a Nokia 9500 but after much thought, I don't hink I'll be needing the Wi-fi ready Nokia 9500 so the P900 is my next bet. I sent feedback to them regarding their compatibility with Sybian phones and let's just keep our fingers crossed

    Guys help...

I just had a fon upgrade from t610 to p900... now i can't sync my p900 to my calendar and address book. (I followed Elbert's advice on the vcard thingie to transfer my contacts from address book to my phone contacts, it worked well but I still need to sync my stuff for future updates on my phone book)

I deleted my old device (t610) from iSync, now my iSync can't detect my p9 BT.

How how di karabaw?? did I mention upgrade? :wound:

Here's what works for my P800. Don't ask me why it works, it just does.

First try syncing with the flip closed and with keylock on.

If that doesn't work, try syncing with the flip open.

    Either should work.

I, of course, assume that you've already paired your two devices.

    Good luck!

i had a bad experience syncing my p900 with my pb. the initial sync was ok but the next one was horrible.
since i put my calendar/sched entries by categories or folders in my phone, my pb did not recognize this during the next isync session and erased almost all of my calendar entries. i had a hard time reconstructing my phone calendar entries. this happened not only once and i cant figure out how to fix it, so i stopped syncing the 2 devices since then. i asked around but nobody was able to convince me to do it again.
