    Default Nokia Service Center?

Was cleaning up my room this weekend & discovered that I still have an old Nokia Communicator 9000 among my stash, w/ a dead battery, though. Wouldn't be surprised if its firmware/software needs to be reinstalled.

Since most of the people I know use Sony Ericsson, can the Nokia users recommend the best service center for their phones?

    Thank you in advance!

I believe most branch of Semicon can repair Nokia's as well as SE.

Have heard some rather unflattering first-hand experiences from friends who've brought their phones to Semicon for repair. Or so they thought.

I've had a couple of transactions with Nokia Care in Pasay Road, and it was all good. Just dropped by this morning there to have my sis-in-laws 7650 serviced for a software upgrade. Usually takes a few days though, but they get the job done.

    Hi CALOY!

What Nokia Care branch do you bring your phones to? Can I also kindly ask for the number there?

Since the model I'll be bringing in is quite old, I'd like to make sure that they'll be able to fix it before coming over.

    Nokia Care: 8437101
This is the one from Pasay road (near Balikbayan handicraft)as well. Good service. Just make sure you go there early or on weekdays to avoid long lines. There's one in Tomas Morato too, but I'm not sure where and what the number there is.
Regarding your unit, I'm sure they'll be able to fix it. I think their staff train in a special Nokia center or something. You get a warranty too when you get your unit fixed.

    Hey, why not:

    1. be a complete brat
    2. find someone who is a Globe Platinum member, who is willing to help out
    3. have Globe pick up the phone and have it repaired for you?

Seriously, if you're Globe Platinum they'll pick it up for you. They can even lend you an additional phone if you DO have one fixed...
