    Default mac & plasma TVs

Would like to know Muggers' experiences with their macs and interface with plasma TV's. has anyone used this for presentations, surfing, movies or gaming?

reason i ask is am considering disposing of my old projection TV unit and upgrading to a plasma but am utterly dumbfounded wiht prices, specs and reviews on the net. Was looking at Hitachi, Panasonic or LG (cuz its cheaper? ). Any help on buying info and experience would be greatly appreciated.

Get a plasma with a DVI input. Panasonic makes good plasmas.

Be careful with the burning-in often associated with Plasma displays though.

We have a toshiba 42 which has a DVI input. Awesome also comes in 42"

Make sure you get one with a DVI input- the VGA ones just don't cut it. Also as important, is that you get a GOOD DVI extension cord- or suffer lines and artifacts in your screen...

Check out the plasma's with built in line doublers too (more expensive, but much better). Most HDTV ready plasma's have these built in. Makes a BIG difference if you're less than 6 feet from the screen.
