s700 is priced at 39k. k700i at 17k . the big price difference is just one of the reasons why you should get a k700 now and not wait for a lower priced s700. by that time, another better phone will come out.
im a k700 user (thnks to access) and it's worth it! except for a not-so-good video quality...

youre always welcome the_butcher  ...cr8zy, the only difference between s700 and the k700 is the 1.3 megapixel camera... if you want to save money and you want to get a new phone, i think K700 is okay because the os of both phones are just the same.

When the other line has been contacted or when you have answered the call, press your joystick and the option of speaker phone would come out.
Enjoy!

i recently got my wife a k700 and when i send mp3 files to her phone i just use bluetooth file exchange on my powerbook. sometimes i shorten the lenght of the song using garage band and then i export it to itunes. within itunes i just convert the file to mp3.

Congratulations! If you are a first time SE user you might get frustrated at first. It would seem that Nokia is "better". But in time you'll warm up to your sweet, new phone. Give your K700 time before you pass judgement

Try this link. Search for "speaker phone" so you don't have to scroll down.
But to put it simply, when you the pther party has answered his or her phone, simply press the joystick button and several choices will appear:
Record
Turn off tunes
Turn on speaker <--- this is what you want
Add call
Mute microphone

You can go to Mobile9 or you can use iTunes to edit and shorten a particular MP3 and send it via bluetooth to your phone. I know that a bluetooth dongle will mean spending more money but in the long run the dongle will be indispensible in pairing your pbook/ibook and your k700.
Edit your MP3 to a smaller bitrate and make it mono instead of stereo. This will save space.
Tip: you'll notice that you have an 'online' button at the right side of your K700. Now, if you don't use GPRS often the button might not be so useful. Why not assign that button to compose an SMS to your favorite contact?
Go to Internet Services then press More. Go to bookmarks and add a new bookmark. Then do the following:
Title: SMS (or whatever you want)
Address: SMS: or SMS:0917xxxxxxx (this will be the cellular number of the contact you most often send SMS to)
Then save the bookmark and highlight it and set it as homepage. Now everytime you press the Online button you got directly to composing an SMS.
