I have an iTrip. I'm not big on car set-ups and I really don't mind the diff in sound quality as compared to a auxilliary line-in connection. I'm happy with it. The interference is negligible for me. As long as I can hear my songs, I'm fine. A plus is that I can bring it anywhere and play my iPod as long as there's a radio around. I've never even taken it off the default settings.

hmmmmm, im not really picky on the sound quality too either.... though they say the sound is much better through the pocket dock than through the headphones. Definitely a plus cuz all you need is a radio..... i'll think about it... thanks

i was supposed to get one a few months back but someone in the forum advised me not to get one because the sound quality aint that good. Also if you hyappen to have one of those radios with the antenna at the rear the windshield or is far from the iTrip then you might get poor or maybe no reception at all.
If you can somehow pipe a line in RCA jack on your radio it might be better to get the Belkin Auto Charger w/Audio for iPod as it has a charger and a line out.
This way you can also control the sound through the radio/deck

Bought one a few months ago, and the sound is okay...until you start driving near places where radio stations are situated, then it gets crappy. It works fine when in the right place, but overall, it's very inconsistent IMHO.

@g65: I'd opt for the cassette adapter as well, if only I had a tape deck in the car.
One big plus I found with the iTrip is that it's handy enough to bring down so I can play my iPod on any radio, anywhere.

Got a iTrip... the novelty of using it wears off after a couple of weeks.
With my main vehicle.. it's great.
With my wife's car... AM sounded clearer coz the car's FM antenna was in the windshield.
Battery life also suffers when using it.

I have both the iTrip and a PocketDock with Line Out. The sound quality of the PocketDock (even with a cassette adapter) is noticeably better than the iTrip. The reason why I have both is because I use the PocketDock whenever I'm in a car with a cassette player. There are times wherein I get to drive a car that doesn't have a cassette player and only a CD player then I have to use the iTrip. As others have mentioned earlier there is a lot of distortion if you drive near a radio station and even if you're close to high voltage transmission lines. I've heard some people say that the Podfreq's sound quality is much better than the iTrip but I've never personally heard the difference. I remember a few months ago the Podfreq was in Ynzal's inventory and they were selling it at P5980.
