    Default isync compatible phone suggestions

    Hi all
Can anyone suggest any isync compatible phones that can store more then 500 numbers?

The Motorola Razor is nice but I just found out today that it can only store one phone entry per name

The Nokia 6600 is nice too but its really buggy when syncing with isync ,any other suggestions?

    Thanks

Most entry level SE phones is only capable of storing 510 numbers (not contacts) so as a business phone the K700i, S700i and T610 aren't much of a use. Unless you use your 128K SIM card when using the K700i or the S700i.

For more numbers you can use the P series but it's rather big.

I don't understand why SE couldn't even increase their contacts memory.

I don't know if Nokia works well with iSync but for your needs of more than 500 contacts you might as well get a Nokia.

(The Razr really looks nice. I've been wanting to have a phone that has the form factor of the Star Tac. The Razr comes close but it's too wide and too expensive! :P )

    hey charlie,

I had the same concerns when i was choosing between the razr or the p910i.

I got the p910i from smart and was planing to trade it w the razr, but after using the p910i for a week it's just getting better and I'm starting to like it even if the phone is a bit bulky!

I'm not sure if the razr can sync to our mac flawlessly... but the p910i does!

I'm still waiting for an isync update because the p910i is still not in there list of compatible phones..but w the current isync it does sync properly (you just dont have the p910i icon in your isync)

The reason why i got another phone is because of the phonebook memory of the k700i. to be honest, i think the k700i is the best phone out in the market (if they just increased the phonebook memory and the text messages inbox)

I can say the p910's phonebook is UNlimited because it shares it's 64mb internal memory. It's a nice smartphone... its still more of a phone than a PDA thats why i like it.

Give it a try and i think you wont go wrong!

other options are Nokia smart phones (I'm not sure w isync tho)

    oh one more thing...

Isync can sync your phone book w photos (if you put a photo in your macs addressbook it will sync the photos w your contacts w/o putting the photo in your gallery, so you won't jack up your gallery list for hundreds of phonebook photos.)

It does sync your ical and to do's pretty well..

thats all... so as of now I'm keeping my p910i and will just drool everytime i see the razr!

I agree that the best phone out now is the K700i if your primary considerations are form factor, UI and iSync compatibility. The S700i has a great camera but the form factor needs a lot of work.

Unfortunately both phones still suffers from the 510 contact limit so if you really need more contact storage I suggest getting an iSync compatible Nokia instead. I saw the latest Nokia Communicator and was quite impressed with its build quality (the QWERTY keyboard was impressive). I don't think it works with iSync though...

How about the Treo 650? Mukhang ok din yun, and since its a Palm OS device, iSync compatibility is just a conduit download away.
