i'll be back in a few months time. most likely i'd be purchasing a new mobile phone and getting a post-paid line... of course, i have to stick on my budget...
i was browsing the websites of globe and smart... and happen to be "attracted" to some SE units... now the question:
which should i purchase... SE T68i or SE T310?
i have to be sure that the one i'll be getting has 101% (sure na sure!) connectivity and synchonization with my Precious TiBook... i had my eye really on T310 BUT i'm not sure on the connectivity...
yah... i have that very TIGHT budget... kind of starting over a life when i get back eh...
Why not get a T610? I'm sure by the time you get back both Smart and Globe will be giving this phone for free if you get the 1-1.5K monthly post-paid account (if they're not doing so right now).
But if you must choose between the two, get the SE T68i for its BT (w/c you need for iSync and Address Book SMS). HTHs.
The t310 has no bluetooth, as such it can't connect to your ti . The t68 has bluetooth and connects and syncs with apple computers perfectly provided you have a usb bluetooth dongle. Kelvin is right though , the t610 is way better.
Am an Ericsson fan so I recommend you visit this website http://www.esato.com/phones/
It's run by Ericsson lovers so you would get a good idea of what phone suits you best. You can even see two-three phones features listed side by side (from all cellphone makers) so you would get a good idea which suits you best.
I would suggest getting the T68i though over the T610. The T610 is now going to be obsolete with the T630 but the T68i (even though it's an older model) can match the T610 for every feature PLUS bluetooth which is a must have. And since the T68i is an older model, it's more affordable. You don't have to worry about the value plummeting, Ericsson users are very loyal and the quality is great so it's not like Nokia phones where the phone value is cut in half when the new models come in.
It will be a few months that Smart or Globe will downgrade the value of the plans for T610 so I would suggest get the T68i instead. Better value overall. Current selling of T68i here is around 10-14,000 pesos brand new. So check it out if it's cheaper to buy there in the US or here.
if you're really in a tight budget, I suggest getting a second hand t68i. This phone is one tough cookie, I've dropped it going down an SUV bouncing twice off the hard pavement (plus other minor accidents because I was lasing) and it still works with no irritating problems. Price for second hand should be a little less than 5K.
between the two i also recommend the t68i, like all of the other posters say.
hmmm...my girlfriend is planning to sell her t68i (i've made her to switch from nokia) for a t630, i just don't know when, ala pa sya pera e.
like most of the posters i suggest t68i. the bluetooth implementation is perfect so it works well with macs. kundi lang nanakaw yung t68 ko baka matagalan ko pa palitan yun. well SE pa rin naman ako ngayon Z600 but its much bigger.
