My uncle has an Epson Stylus Color 1160 printer. Whenever he tries to print a document or picture the printer utility comes up then fades away. Nothing comes out from the printer.
The driver is updated. If he checks the Printer List, the Utility and Colorsync function is not highlighted (as oppose to the other printers installed).
Any thought on this?
By the way he is using Tiger OSX (He did not encounter this problem with Panther before).

Just curious how you solved the problem. Epson inkjets can be "uncooperative" at times.

I uninstalled all the printers that he had on his Powerbook. I then installed the driver of the Stylus, rebooted the notebook then turned the printer on. I did a test print and it worked!
