Thread: -8 Degrees C?!

    Default -8 Degrees C?!

I came across this product when I was at an Apple Store in HK. I asked the clerk if it really does work. All he said was: "I think so."

Not very convinced with what he said, I opted to get the BT mouse instead of that since they cost the same.

But... I've experienced the horror of my warping 12" PB, I think I need this to avoid it.

Is there anyone in the forum who has this? Any review from a website? Does it really work?

    Thanks!

    Oooooh.

I saw that on this great Japanese Mac website with fantastic accessories somewhere, but I couldn't read the page. I'll try to find it.

Always wanted to get one. How much was it, do you remember?

Saw that too in a shop here in Causeway Bay. Yup, it's a cooler of some sort. Unfortunately, they only had stock for the 12 & 15 inchers (books, that is). Here's a link to the product, though the description is kinda short.

I've tried using babel fish's translation with the site but it comes out even more uncomprehendable. The price is at HK$ 500.00.

    Pawasapo: www.pawasapo.co.jp

Trivia: pawasapo is actually short for Power Supply. Japanese just love their own abbreviation for things.

Somehow, I think the manufacturer's exaggerating, especially with the -4 deg Celsius claim. I doubt it can even lower the temperature to 20 degrees, hehe. :-)

    Default Pede na to!

I saw this PB stand but I think spending for it will not be very practical specially when we can use existing gadgets at home to do the trick.

In my case, I took my lonely pair of speaker spikes, wrapped it with blue tack to keep the spike and the holder in place to become my -10C IT WORKS!
