    Default yet another wifi problem

Can anyone help me? im experiencing wifi problems with my iphone. i know this has already been in some threads here and ive read them but it has not solved my problem.

my iphone can display the wifi icon but whenever i try to use it, it would somehow loose the full bar and if edge is ON, it would revert to edge. however if the iphone is not used..not touched for sometime, the wifi would appear again with full bars. and if i use the wifi function again, it would not connect.

ive checked my ip address with that of the pc, its all the same.

my router is a linksys wireless N which is an arm's length away from me.

does this happen in all wifi hotspots? if not, try resetting your router to default

Try using static IP address from your iPhone and assign this IP and hostname to your router or try disbaling authentication just have your router accepts any connection and if your iphone connects so theres a problem with your configuration. Just try tweaking your routers config and iPhone.
