If in case you're a Mac user, you don't have to wait, there's this Pwnage tool. It even got an update(version 1.1) recently, unlike Winpwn which is still in beta version up to now and can't seem to create/unlock a custom 2.0 beta fw. For more info, check it out here, Pwnage (Mac)

tried making a custom ipsw with Winpwn RC1, you can add apps (BSD, OpenSSH, Installer, etc) directly to the ipsw. so everytime you restore, you can just use the one you made and everything is there. custom boot logos too!

some things/bugs i noticed:
- swirlymms wont work when combined with ipsw, and even if you uninstall/install after, still wont work
- DCIM folders won't save the camera photos (but SSH permissions to 0777 can fix this)
- finder and squid lack permissions, their edits dont stick

if they get it out of beta, then it would be a great tool!

Help: i upgraded my ipod touch version to 1.1.4 using the latest winpwn with custom boot screen logo..Tunewiki app worked out fine on my ipod touch.. On my 1.1.4 iphone (ziphone) tunewiki gets the "sorry, no lyrics yet" error

Is it advisable to also use winpwn on my iphone that was upgraded using ziphone because i want the tunewiki to work on my iphone & also have a custom boot screen logo
