where to find japanese, italian, french, spanish cds
i searched at tower records and other popular record stores but they have limited artists on display. i'm a big fan of japanese music, i already have a couple of utada hikaru's albums; other japanese singers are very hard to find. also, i'm into discovering music from other countries. nagsisimula pa lang.
does anyone here knows if there are some specialty shops that sells cds from different countries like from the countries i mentioned?
thanks!

I've found a few good cd's at this tiny store in Little Tokyo. Not a very extensive collection, mind you, and you have to dig through a pile of yucky second-hand cd's but I actually found some very good copies of My Little Lover and Fukuyama Masaharu singles there~! I don't know what other artists you're into but maybe you'll find some good ones there.
I also just order my cd's from Comic Alley. They don't usually carry artists (mostly anime and seiyuu albums), but they do have a brochure that have a few artists, I was able to accquire some Gackt and Luna Sea albums there.
But of course, the best place for Japanese CD's would still be Yes Asia or CD Japan :P Online shopping, woo.

For my Japanese CDs I order directly from Amazon.co.jp. But you could try http:www.yesasia.com They ship to the Philippines and provide conversion to pesos and have a wide selecition of Korean, Chinese and Japanese CDs and DVDs.

The Music One (I think) store in SM North Edsa has a section devoted to international music, I think I've seen a couple of CDs made by French & Italian artists there.
(LOL, I thought you were looking for language tutorial CDs

As for French CDs, Alliance Francais has some audio CDs at their library.

As everybody mentioned, Yes Asia is probably your best bet if you're looking for other asian artists. Its pretty hard to find them locally, although I've been seeing Utada's albums being sold here.
Hmm.. Spanish, eh? I couldn't find Alejandro Sanz's album anywhere. I've been looking for No Es Lo Mismo for months now. You guys have any idea? :wound:

Yup, but the last I checked, the library still isn't lending books because of the renovations.
