Where are the Filipino iPhone developers?
I just read an article at CNN about a developer earning $250,000 (convert to PHP) in just two months for selling his $4.99 game. I'm wondering, with so much talented Filipino developers and artists, why aren't there more 'Made in the Philippines' iPhone apps?

Re: Where are the Filipino iPhone developers?
I just read the article this morning. To think it's been ages since I saw the said app (Trism) in the App Store Top 100 apps. What more the more popular apps?
Based on his figures, roughly 50,100 folks have bought and downloaded his app. Not bad!
I wonder what the figures are for the more popular apps and games.
Anyway, do we have a PhilMUGger here who has an app or two uploaded in the iTunes App Store already?

I think you have to sign up for the Apple Developer Connection or something.. parang ung developer collaboration facility nila or whatever..
Im thinking if someone has experience here sa pag ddevelop ng iPhone/Mac apps if we could do like a meetup para turuan ang mga noobs tulad ko hehe.
Thanks,

A PhilMUG meet/training/seminar on how to develop then submit apps for the iPhone/iPod Touch App Store sounds great. I wonder who will be the first PhilMUGger to have an app posted in the App Store...

There was actually a post about a developer meet-up sometime back: iPhone app developers/users meet-up
