Where to buy?

hi guys, im planning to buy an iphone this month. here are my few questions:
1.where is the best place/person to buy this amazing gadget?
2.how long does the battery last? (i do text a lot)
3.does it have a dictionary application? thanks guys

The dictionary application is not included in a stock iPhone but you can download it easily.

If you buy from an Apple store I'm sure they can answer all your questions about the phone.

when you get you iPhone, visit this site if you have more questions. People here have been really helpfull to me and my phone. hehe. Tinuruan nila ako how to update, unlock and install applications on it.

1. Best place? An Apple store. $399 for the 8GB and $499 for the 16GB, plus tax in the US. Maybe Hongkong or Singapore Some people buy units there and then sell them here, with a little bit more added to the price for their time and effort. 8GB units for for 20-23K and 16GB go for 26-29. Try the marketplace forum.

2. It depends. I'm VERY addicted to my iPhone, I end playing with it every 15 minutes. Calls, texts, games, notes, iPod, etc... Sometimes it lasts me a day, sometimes 2 days. It depends on your usage.

3. Try sending a PM to doble zeta. He did everything for me, gave me tips, and is still giving me good after sales help. www.applei.ph If you're a "do-it-yourselfer" (is there such a term?), search the threads, some people here have done it even if they weren't techies.

Hehe.. if you're a newbie to something/anything, it's a given of course.. isn't?!

Saviness (as in everything), comes afterwards.. newbies still have to post something right, to make their presence felt.

Let's cut them some slack/give them a break (suspects are innocent until proven guilty), drop them a friendly reminder every know & then.. it won't hurt so much, I suppose?!

But it's not that they shouldn't follow rules here.. simply because, or whether they actually read/understood the fine print when they signed/clicked "I Agree," and don't you forget or remember.. that we we're once "newbies" beforehand as well?!

Oh well.. don't mind me perhaps or just pardon my few cents about it, yet again.

hi guys. i was supposed to buy an iphone 16gb for my sis. asked a friend who lives in LA but learned that all iphones(apple.com) in USA are not available anymore.. surely it's bec of the new one coming out soon.
