Default What would be THE iPhone killer for you?

This is gonna be a very subjective thread, but as I sit here and stare at my 2 gorgeous iphones I started thinking: What would it take for a (new) product to beat this device? What would entice me to switch away from the iphone?

So far I've seen lots of new phones with a plethora of features and whatnot. I used to change phones every year. Yet with all the hyped "iphone-killers" that has been coming out the past 6 months, I felt no interest at all. Most of these new phones beat the iphone in terms of hardware, and functionality (looking at tech specs only). The iphone, somehow, has kept me captivated even after using it for more than 1 year.

So here's a little discussion: What would it take for YOU to switch to another phone?

Here's a few of the reasons why I'm not even considering giving up my iphones, both 3g and 1st gen:

1.) A phone with better - or at least equal - software support. Even with my 1st gen iphone, I'm downloading apps from the app store, and receiving free updates every-so-often. Some of these updates are even major, thus adding more features to the product I purchased (and was happy with) a year ago! Using a 3g and 1st gen side by side, I literally feel like I'm using the same product. A big plus for me! I've been a nokia user all my life and sad to say that the lifespan for my phones are a year max, mainly because I get bored with it or I want some new features or something like that.

2.) Looks + function = win. I think the combination of the iphone's sexiness + its easy-to-use interface is just perfect for me. Best part is that the software is always updating (see point above) to further improve on the phone's weaknesses. I'm not sure if anyone remembers, when nokia releases a phone you don't buy the first model. I bought an 8850 (i think) when it was released. Unfortunately it was filled with bugs. Nokia later released 8850i, which supposedly fixed the bugs. I was stuck with the crappy model. There are many "i" models in the nokia range. Apple just updates the phones for free!

3.) Mobileme integration. Gotta love the integration between my mac and 2 iphones

So, what would make YOU switch from the iphone to another phone?

    Ain't that the truth!

But seriously though, I bought an iphone last year (1st gen). Then when 3g came out with Globe they offered me 1 for free because of my usage. I wasn't ready to turn down an offer of a free iphone 3g

So now I use both, 1 for my work line (smart), the other for mixed personal and work (globe).

Is the samsung omnia really an iPhone killer? one of my friend keeps on telling me that it's better than my iphone, but i have to admit it has a cool presentation on it's website, http://omnia.samsungmobile.com/

but i'm not that impressed.. Maybe for the camera resolution part only
