    Default What is the new logo beside the Telecom Logo

    Hi, I just upgraded my iphone to 2.0 and used my globe sim with it since I wanted to try location services of globe(using it with sun for the past 2 months).. Aside from the E (the edge logo) my iphone sometimes shows dot logo and blue background instead of the E with a bluebackground. what is that?

    That was once the Blue Stripe without the E icon, which means you only have gprs connection . Dati wala, kaya mahirap differentiate. Mas okay na now.

    This is also incorporated in iPhone 3G

    E = Edge
    3G = 3G
    Black dot = GPRS

    regarding this new logo, clicking the mail icon will automatically download your email messages even if you are not connected to any wifi hotspot. I accidentally clicked my mail awhile ago and it did just that. I was thinking that it had also used up my globe account. How can i turn this off?
