Weather Problem, etc on 1.1.4

Is anyone here having problems updating weather? (or simply connecting to it) Could it be that it is because I installed bsd subsystem 2.1, removed fake bootloader when I fixed my smsd template? Or could it be just a Yahoo problem? I am now thinking of just restoring my phone. But I'm too lazy to go through all the pain.

Need help.

Also, these incidents happened as well:
1. When I set my auto lock to never, it never opened again after I manually put it to sleep. I had to connect it to the computer so it would turn on again. But this problem seem to be working now without me doing anything.
2. My text message alert hangs sometimes.

I thought I'm the only one having this problem. I also can't update info in Weather.app. It's the same thing with the Stocks app, which I use as a currency converter. I hope it's a problem with Yahoo. I'm on FW 1.1.1 by the way.

Same here. I also can't update info in Weather.app and Stocks app, both via wifi or edge.

I also had the same experience today. Some users in other forums also reported that their iPhones would update without any problems. So I guess it could be attributed to the server being down...I sure do hope it's just a server problem.

My weather app is now working. So that confirms that it was just a yahoo/server problem.

Sorry for getting all panicky.

I would still want to hear whether I should be using bsd 2.1 on the 1.1.4 or the fake one (whatever that is). I am not sure whether I did the right thing. Anyone out there who could tell me the difference between the two and what is recommended?
