Version 2.0 is now Up for grabs (at your own risk)
The dreaded and drooled over iPhone Software 2.0 is hiding in Apple's server, MacRumors managed to dig it up.
It is not yet available in iTunes
Download here> http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite....7_Restore.ipsw
Important reminders: Since we're in the Phil. I suggest you do not upgrade or you will just look at a brick for a week or two.
Just get it ready. so that it will be a GO for you to update when at least a Jailbreak or Unlocking solution is found.
From Apple (2.0 is not just an ordianry upgrade):
Normally if you choose to update, the iPhone or iPod touch software is updated but your settings and media are not affected. If your device currently has a software version prior to 2.0 (1.x) and you are updating to software version 2.0 or later, all data on your device will be erased in order to perform install the new software. In this case, iTunes will offer to create a one-time media backup of your device depending on what content is on your device and what content is stored in the iTunes Library you are connected to. You should ensure that you have enough free space on your Mac or PC to accommodate a backup that matches the capacity of your iPhone or iPod touch (4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, or 32 GB) if you proceed with the this backup.

I will not be liable if any of your unlocked iPhones get locked in the process so PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Edgesuite.net could be something like Akamai which apple was using to host their large media files back then
UPDATE: Edgesuite is indeed Akamai. So this is a legit download link.

Of course this will relock your iPhone.... so you have to wait for a valid jailbreak before updating the glorious software.
