Upgrading my Nano

have a 2gig nano. i understand that they used flash mems for it na ngayon. any chance that we can upgrade this DIY or sa aftermarket to a higher capacity (like 8gig or something)? thanks.

if you are willing to void the warranty (if any), crack the ipod open, de-solder the RAM chips, re-solder in new ones and put it all back together, all while knowing that the whole thing _might_ not work after, yes :-)

oh. and the RAM pins are TIGHT :-0 you gotta be real handy with that soldering iron
