Unable to receive SMS on iPhone

Hi i am Raghav

I have a problem similar to this

I got an iphone 8 months ago with already unlocked 1.0.2 FW from ebay

It worked fine, later i tried o upgrade to 1.1.3. I may not followed the right procedure to upgrade, now my iphone won't receive incomming sms.
Everyhing apart from sms works fine. I m able to send SMS
Strange part is, my modem firmware is shown as 04.04.05_G. My Bootloader is 3.9_M3S2.
The Baseband i have on my 1.1.3 belongs to 1.1.4(1.1.4 was the latest firmware at the time when i upgraded)
I am really nervous to re unlock or restore because it troubled me a lot and beleive me i canno lay with $600 price tagged toys

So i tried to do it without any restore, i couldn't
I came know at Philmug forums that, problems like this needs a baseband rewrite or repair
First thing , i don't know what a baseband is or a bootloader

Please help!!!!!! the most common feature is use in mobile is SMS app, now i can't use it

Please fix me..I would ne in debt for you through out my Life

Note: I am not able to receive any types of SMS
I have no idea how it was unlocked earlier but at the time of upgradation, i unlocked it using Ziphone 2.5

Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Note: I am extremely sorry that i started a new Thread, i searched for the old threads and never found a fix appropriate to my problem

Please help me in fixing the problem

113. Wow. Ok, looks like you have an iWorld/Appsupport problem.
There is a fix for that, but you'll need to learn how to do SSH and hunt for certain files.
May i suggest you upgrade your iPhone to 2.0, using Pwnage, it'll resolve a lot of this bugs.

Here is something i need to tell you

Currently i have iTunes 7.7(Latest version)

I get an error, Error 1015

Apart from this, i only have Edge here in India...No service provider offers Wifi connection...not yet

Do you think...i can do it??

hi dude, your version 1.1.3 should have a modem 4.03 , and not 4.04, what i suggest is restore to 1.1.4 and download ziphone 3.0. Are u a mac or pc user i will post the links for u a in a while.

I am a PC user

I have Ziphone 3.0, when i tried to upgrade to 1.1.4 , i got an 1015 error

May be because of 7.7 iTunes, i cannot use my iphone with a lower version of iTunes from my computer i guess right??

As far as Ziphone, i have the latest Ziphone(3.0) strange problem haunting me forr the past four months

Note: If you think that i am a professional programmer or a mac savvy or expert?
You are wrong ..please categorize me in the list of Dummy....even lesser

But working with experts will boost your confidence levels...cool
So whatever u say, i'll do it...but only with the help of a clear guide dude

ok first things first. dont get excited i am sure it will work out right. in my first comment i made a mistake it should be 1.1.3 having a modem 4.03 , and the 1.1.4 should have the modem 4.04 .
do you have a yahoo messenger, if yes please post your ym Id so we can chat and try to make instuctions clearer.
