Default Together in Electric Dreams... (80\'s Music Help)

Was fortunate enough to be gifted with both a $50 dollar iTunes Music store gift certificate and a $75 Tower Records gift certificate from a very generous uncle to celebrate the arrival of my new mini 'Pod...

Thing is, I was inspired by the 60's / 70's / 80's thread and I've decided to blow most of it on music from the earlier times...

So what songs / artists / albums do you guys recommend? (Labo, I remember the lines from the songs but not the titles...)

    Here's my preliminary list:

    "Shout" by Tears for Fears
"Friday I'm in Love" by the Cure
    "Fascination Street" by the Cure
"Dancing in the Dark" by Bruce Springsteen
"With or Without You" by U2
    "London Calling" by the Clash
    "Cannonball (English Version)" by Menudo

Paging Buddhaboy, I need help here...

I recently loaded Paul Simon, The Beatles, and a little Steely Dan onto my iPod. Not sure if they fit your 60s/70s/80s craving though.

How about "First Picture Of You" and "German Girl" by The Lotus Eaters? And "William It Was Really Nothing," "Late Night, Maudlin Street," "November Spawned A Monster," "Golden Lights" and other timeless Morrissey/Smiths songs.
