Can you explain how you were robbed by a telecom shop? Where was this? So that we can be warned not to transact business with that shop.

Re: Anyone selling iphones here?
I sent my iphone back in the hope of having it unlocked (i accidentally had it sim locked again). This was like last october 27. I tried calling them every other day to check on the status of my iphone. Till now, i still don't have my iphone with me. Then when i phoned to their head office, they told me that the supplier of iphones (where it was actually sent to) bought my iphone back to then with the boss of the telecom shop's consent. And if that isn't bad yet, they only informed me, like, a few hours ago, that this "swindling" happened a month ago.
I never should've sent my iphone to them. When i sim locked my iphone, i haven't found this site yet.
now, i can't concentrate on reviewing for my exam tomorrow.

So sad to hear that, the only thing you can do (at least) is hope you'd still have your precious iPhone back. If not, then I think you should start accepting the fact that you lost your iPhone. I mean moving forward you should be cautious that some of the shops that sell iPhones really cannot give you any warranty just because they are not authorized iPhone dealers in the first place. Just a friendly adviseToo bad you knew this forum site right after your phone was "robbed".

Some few things I don't get:
1. If the telecom shop has a "head office", then it must be a established telecom company.
2. If no.1 is correct, then you must have been given a receipt or claim slip for the repair of the iPhone you returned to them, right?
3. If no.2 is correct, then you have a 'documented' claim from this telecom shop. Using this claim slip, you can still run after them to get your phone back.
4. If the above statements are true, then why are you saying that you were robbed of your iPhone?
Like I said, there are some gaps in the story that confuse me.
Also, like chairman said, please identify this shop that 'robbed' you of your iPhone...

Amen to that. If it is indeed an established telecom company, there should always a receipt as proof of purchase if not a claim slip or a warranty card issued by that telecom company. Another thing, how did this telecom shop acknowledge receipt of your phone when you sent it back for repair? Were you even an acknowledgement slip or document? If so, then you can definitely run after your precious investment.

Re: A telecom store robbed me of my iPhone (was: Anyone selling iphones here?)
Some of the iPhone retailers here have their suppliers in Hong Kong. It's possible that it was sent back to Hong Kong for repair or replacement. There are instances when the supplier would refuse to do a replacement/refund espscially when the problem is brought about by user negligence/error and is not a defect. When this happens, the unit would be put in 'floating' status until some sort of win-win agreement between the supplier and dealer is established... and this takes time.
I would suggest that you just get back your phone. You have all the right to do so.
