    Reviews here say that it's a good phone but lacks the coolness of the iPhone...

    it doesnt look that good, but the software is way better than apple's. I sure do hope apple would allow more flexibility to developers.

    on the other side, i think more people would like it because it has a physical qwerty

    I saw the phone in US. Its not too bad, I think its a potential iphone killer...depending on the apps they get. The greatest advantage it has is the open sourced OS which will open many doors for software developers.

    It's definitely got a better chance at eating up apple's share than all the other iphone-killer-wannabes that's been released this past few months imho. But most likely it'll eat up RIM and Nokia's market share instead :P

    Tried it out at a T mobile shop weeks ago... design is not appealing, had trouble zooming in and out with the maps (used to pinching,), it was an okay device for me.

    Interesting thing: Some of the earlier builds of Android interpret everything as a command-line operation (sez Engadget). If you type reboot, the unit running Android will actually reboot. Hehe.

    problem is, its the only handset available for now. since the OS would be available on other devices as well, i think the experience would all be different.

    so the term iphone killer would all be based on the device, not the OS.
