STAINS ON MY iPod
While waiting for the iSkin i ordered, I had to look for something to protect my iPod from scratches.
I made the mistake of using one of those microfiber drawstring pouches made for cellphones for my 20G iPod --- and now my ipod has a pinkish tint! Gasp!!!!
The dye from the maroon fabric stained it!
Ah well...
Any ideas on how i could restore it to its pristine white condition?

I guess the lesson for me here is: just like doing laundry-NEVER MIX WHITE WITH COLORED

i was able to remove the dark stains from the wheel and buttons of my 3g ipod with something i got for free last weekend.
Kiwi Sport Express (its a gel cleaner in a weird brush/sponge container). I got it free after buying the Kiwi Fresh Force shoe freshener. I tried it kasi it was able to remove stubborn stains on my white sneakers, both on the white leather, white plastic, and white rubber parts of the shoe, so I tried it also on the ipod.
Of course I used plain cotton balls, and a couple of drops of the gel and rubbed it around and around, but not pressing too hard. Most of the stain got rubbed off, and the wheel is a lot cleaner and whiter.

hmmm.... might as well give that kiwi stuff a shot on my 4g iPod. Thanks!
Right now, my iPod is cradled snugly in a custom made faded denim sleeve, which i had made by our neighbohood tailor. It looks ruggedly good!
