Space for installer app: 1.0.2 and 1.1.1

Searched and haven't seen it posted yet. So, I was wondering if you guys know that 1.1.1 has smaller allocated space for installing applications(3rd party).

1.0.2 had around 100+mb of space right? Read on MMI that 1.1.1 has a lower space for installation.

It's funny coz installer app doesnt show us the free space anymore.

I actualy noticed the same. When I was in 1.0.2, free space was around 99MB. I upgraded last week to 1.1.1 and noticed that the space is now down to 60MB. Any explanation why?

I use the terminal and use 'df'

the apps reside in the /dev/disks01

there's actually a fix for this. Just haven't got the time to test it on my unit yet.

It's not really a fix, it's an option.
