    Default SMS Back-up.

    Guys, have a question about the sms. I found sms.db which contains all the sms that i have on my iphone. If I back this up and save it on my computer, then erased the messages on my iPhone. Would I still be able to copy it back to the phone and would i get the same messages?

    I cant use SMSD anymore since i just have a lot of messages already. If I open it, it hangs..

    yes, you can. i did this and it worked.

    Is there a way to open that file from your Mac?

    Yup, tested it as well last night ang uploaded it to my friends iPhone and found the messages there..yey...
