Shuffle PC requirements

hey guys the requirements for the shuffle for the pc is this.... now has anybody tried it with a pc that doesn't quite meet the requirements? reason i asked cuz i've nearly convinced my cuzin to buy a shuffle instead of a muvo, but he's worried about the compatibility of the shuffle.
