shuffle and nano

Hi! I'm thinking of buying a tiny mp3 player so I'd like to know how's the sound of shuffle compared to nano? What's the sound like in the EQ setting of the nano? I've been borrowing my brother's nano for awhile but I'd like a smaller ipod to take anywhere without worrying that it might get stolen. I have a 80gb video ipod at home and on comparison is better than the fatty nano of my bro's but bigger and heavier to lug around. There's another small mp3 player i've been reading that has good reviews and that's the sandisk sansa clip, although it's a little bigger than the shuffle it has a screen and fm radio.
