anybody got some experience with sennheiser headphones? what's the best for iPod?
i need one that is really comfy for continuous usage for the whole day... will the bigger headphones consume iPod battery faster?
thanks!![]()

once you go Mac... you can't go back.
Sennheiser headphones, I'd recommend the PX100, although I use a PX200. The PX100 has been getting very good reviews. To each his own as I'm very satisfied with my PX200. I don't see any difference with the battery life if I use the Senn headphones or the Apple buds.
didn't like the sound of the sennheisers when i tried them out.... stick to the apple stock earphones unless you can get the bang and olufsen ones which, for me, are the best so far. :-)
The ones I have tried are not that portable, but might be useful info nonetheless.
I got myself an HD202. Sound quality was not bad, but started to clip at high SPL. Had I heard the set before buying, I probably wouldnt have bought. However, it was only about P2,500 when I got it.
I also got myself an HD25sp. Excellent sound quality. The difference between the 202s was like night and day! Nice light package, pretty good at high SPL. Balanced output, clear sound. Catch is, its about P6,000 or more.
Personally use the HD 590 and it has this warm sound to it. Midrange and midbass are good. Bass goes low but not as tight. The highs are smooth and laid back. Overall good sound for the money.

Tried a px250 and found it significantly better than the stock apple headphones. the noise cancelling function really wotks. to tell if the headphones dont consume much battery, look at the sensitivity. the higher the number the less power it consumes for the same audio level.
How about In-Ear Headphones, anybody tried them? Doesn't the cable melt like the Sony In-ear phones?

For in-ear headphones, I highly recommend Griffin EarThumps. Vast improvement over the stock iPod earbuds, and it's only 1200 pesos.
hedges,
been looking around for comfortable "in ear" phones... where did you get your earthumps? are they available locally?
the sony's cable melts and the senheisers cables are too thin, well mine was, it snagged on a door handle and "viola" no more sound...
