    Default Restore

    is there other way to restore iphone aside from using itunes? my iphone was corrupted and dont have wifi, and itunes dont recognized iphone,

    Yes, it does have. Press the home and sleep button simultanouesly for about 10 secs.

    yup while it is in restore mode plug it into your pc/mac and itunes will recognize it.


    please make sure you restore it with the 1.1.1fm

    btw, there is no other way of restoring your phone except with the use of itunes. HTH

    thanks but the problem is even in restore mode itunes cant recognized iphone, i think its a hardware problem

    can i use itunes 7.6 to restore to 1.1.1 or do i have to revert back to 7.5 Itunes?

    itunes 7.6 doesnt have the option to choose what to restore. it will automatically restore to 1.1.3.

    i unistalled 7.6 and re installed 7.5 again itwont run and says my library is made by a newer version.

    you can restore to 1.1.1 through itunes...
    download firmware 1.1.1 first... (iPod1,1_1.1.1_3A110a_Restore.ipsw)

    1. connect iphone to your computer.. itunes comes up..
    2. press and hold the hold and home button..when the iphone disappears from itunes, release the HOLD BUTTON ONLY..
    3. when iphone restarts then shows up on itunes, release the home button.. iphone in restore mode
    4. OPTION + CLICK RESTORE and look for the fw1.1.1 you downloaded..
