What do you mean? Like a day after you bought it, it had defects and you want to replace it? No need to wait in that case

Re: Replacing your iPod question
If it's a defect that you found within a week since you bought it, you have to demand for an outright replacement. If it's a defect that you discovered weeks after you bought it, you might have to wait for 2 weeks more since the units will be coming from Singapore. That's based on my experience when I have my 3 iPods replaced at the Apple Center at Megamall..

Re: Replacing your iPod question
That's 4-5 months ago. Hope your reseller isn't the "you should have reported this earlier" type.
You may have to wait a bit longer. First, they'll have to observe your unit. And if they're the stubborn types, you'll have to convince them that something's seriously wrong with your iPod's wifi. Then, if a replacement is necessary, they will have to do the standard paperwork etc. Given that it's been 4-5 months already, the replacement unit may have to be ordered from Singapore instead of an outright replacement from the store inventory.

Re: Replacing your iPod question
is that so? hassle. nothing's really wrong with my ipod. no deep scratches or freezing issues. its just that poor wifi connectivity
that's why i asked in a separate thread if there is a possibility to replace or repair the ipod's wifi transmitter
