Questions about Globe iPhone 3G warranty
I just bought a new 8gigger a few hours ago sa GBC. Problem is I never tested the unit til I got home. So normally I opened the box, checked for anything missing, and of course inspected the phone itself.. To my dismay, upon looking at the opening of the sim tray, there's a very small black plastic chipped away from the phone itself. It doesnt really look obvious when you take a look at it normally.. but when you have it under a bright light you really can see something chipped or bitten away.. Anyhow that's the only problem I saw, unit is working fine and everything..
Well i'm still more concerned about aesthetics so since it's not even a day old, I'll head back to the GBC where I bought it and have it replaced tomorrow.. do you think it's legible for replacement?

yup, i surely can... the plastic thats wrapped around the iphone shows dented marks on where the defective part is..which clearly states it's more like a factory defect than mishandling..

Yap I agree with miguel, you'll just have to prove that the damage was indeed a defect, and not customer initiated

Put yourself in Globe's shoes. If you can, without any hint of uncertainty, conclude that the cosmetic damage can't possibly be consumer-initiated as stated by viral_variance, then you can sleep soundly tonight.
