question about apple centers here
i have an ipod sealed which was given to me by my uncle this xmas. The problem is walang reciept na i think binili niya ito sa US (not sure) i was wondering what if may problem could i bring it to an apple center here then would they fix it for free?

you need to have the receipt. Ask you uncle to sent the receipt.

Ask a re-print from the shop/vendor that you bought it from.

i agree w/ macmon on that.....unless if its a minor problem which i got away with it at the apple center in mmall. Got caught up in the excitement that i turned my ipod into a storage drive. The staff was kind enough to help me out and restored my ipod (first option was they were going to ship it to singapore, but asked for the proof of purchase which i didn't have also)
Or just be really really careful not to drop it.... yikes! :wound:

if my reciept is from the US. dated on dec. then until dec this year yun warranty? correct me if im wrong thanks

Yes unless you buy the ipod apple care which will add an extra 2 years from your original date of purchase.

Register your iPod. Ynzal honored the warranty on my bro's receipt-less iPod because they were able to verify his registration

Hi Macmon, from what I know the Apple Care for iPod is only for another year, not two years. The Apple Care for the 'books and desktops are for two years though. FYI lang. Hope you don't mind this note.
