just want to share this one. very nice alternative.

If you want to protect your ipods, iphone or laptop and put style as well, GelaSkin is the answer. It's cheap also compare to other mask.

I have one on my macbook white. I'm using the Inkpod Design
Excellent 3M material. no residue, reusable. It covers the Apple logo though.

So this is a skin (hence reusable) and not a laminated film?

mad Mac,it's not the usual protection that you see around. you can peel it off and put it on without damaging or stretching the material.3M adhesive sya. I kept the packaging that came with it so that I can keep the design if in the future, I get bored with it and put on a new one.

got it from a shop at Funan Mall, SG, if i remember correctly...but when i was there, they have limited designs for the 12". The guy was so kind and accommodating. He even called up his supplier to bring the designs I wanted. He told his supplier that his good friend is there to buy and needed them on the same day. Guess what.. I got the stocks on the same day.

I first heard of the Gelaskins from a friend who saw it in NY and was telling me that it's really good and the designs are fantastic. When I saw it in SG, I agreed with her. I was too excited looking over the designs, kept on fumbling over their stocks. It's different when you see the actual stocks rather than seeing pictures on their website.
At the end of the day, my friend and I bought gelaskins for the iphone, ipod classic, as well as for the macbook and powerbook.

I'm eyeing a different design for my macbook. Replacing it is easy! and I get to keep the current gelaskin I'm using.
