If you still reside in the states, or have someone in the states, you could contact the Apple store there and have them mail you another copy of your receipt. I bought my laptop in SF and have my receipt mailed to a relative in the SF. Then had it sent home when one of them goes back home. Kinda long process but at least you have an authentic copy.

It may be helpful to know the serial number of your unit. The product's serial number is typically etched into the casing of the unit. Did you register your product? If there has been no automatic registration, it might be useful if you register it online at the Apple site. This is what I normally do for every hardware purchased from Apple from various sources--I register the product online at the Apple site.

If you are in the Phil pass by Apple Store in Mega Mall and have them check you serial number. If it appears in their system they can take it in even w/o the receipt

there's a new member here who has been offering to provide fake receipts for ipods. this is illegal and is not condoned by philmug. we've warned the person in question, and if he persists (he tried twice--using 2 of his 7 posts so far; the posts have been archived) will be dealt with accordingly. let's keep this place clean, folks. now back to serious queries and honest answers.

If you lost your receipt, go to your retailer. A delivery receipt will do in lieu of an OR, just in case they give you a hard time issuing a copy of the original invoice. A DR will serve as a proof of purchase and is easy to issue.
